CALL FOR APPLICATION TO ATTEND THE TRAINING ON ISO 17025:2017 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COMPETENCE OF TESTING AND CALIBRATION LABORATORIES
Referring to the law N° 50/2013 of 28/06/2013 establishing Rwanda Standard Board (RSB), and the law N°70/2019 of 10/01/2020 governing metrology in Rwanda especially on its article 4 which stipulates that private bodies may provide metrology services;
Considering the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2) target of creating 1.2 million productive and decent jobs for economic development and poverty reduction;
Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) is organizing a five-day training on ISO 17025:2017 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories designed for private bodies seeking to establish testing or calibration laboratory compliant with international requirements for the attainment of laboratory designation or Metrology license.
In light of the above, RSB is pleased to call upon all interested bodies and independent participants to apply for this five-day training scheduled to take place from 1st to 5th December 2025 at RSB Headquarters. The interested participants are required to have undertaken at least STEM major during A2 or A1 undergraduate studies.
