EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR HIRING OF QUALIFIED TRAINERS, TECHNICAL EXPERTS AND AUDITORS ON A FRAMEWORK CONTRACT

BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

In pursuance of its vision and mission, Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) has continued to provide internationally recognized and customer suited standardization services, consumer protection and trade promotion for socio-economic growth in a safe and stable environment. 

RSB seeks to hire external Experts and Auditors to augment the current certification activities in Food Safety Management systems of local industries as well as in other certification scheme run by RSB; Quality Management systems (RS ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management Systems (RS ISO 14001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (RS ISO 45001) Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Organic Agriculture.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

TRAINERS

  • Recruit resource persons to train RSB stakeholders in the areas of food safety, quality, environmental, information security, occupational health and safety, financial, management system standards, product standards specification, codes of practice as well as service standards;
  • Develop training modules, training materials, provide trainings and evaluate effectiveness of the training depending on the area of expertise.

AUDITORS/EXPERTS

  • Provide audit service and report to the National Certification Division in order to make an informed certification decision.

CONTRACT DURATION

Each Auditor/ Expert / Trainer will be contracted on a framework contract for a period of one year which is renewable depending on the performance. 

FINANCIAL REMUNERATION

The price to be paid to the consultant will be subject to negotiation between the two parties.

NOTE: The minimum technical score to be qualified is 70%. RSB will select all qualified consultants. 

DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY

Each Expert / Auditor will be contracted on a framework contract for a period of one year which is renewable depending on the performance.
