Implementation training on Prerequisite programmes (PRP) on food safety for catering operations

Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) is organizing an implementation training on Prerequisite programmes (PRPs) on food safety specifically for catering operations based on RS ISO/TS 22002-2:2013 standard.

This part of ISO/TS 22002 specifies the requirements for the design, implementation and maintenance of Prerequisite programmes (PRPs) to assist in controlling food safety hazards in catering. It is applicable to all organizations involved in the processing, preparation, distribution, transport and serving of food and meals as required in clause 8 of ISO 22000:2018.

Through this training, participants will be equipped with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for effectively implementing proactive measures to ensure a high level of food safety, thereby enhancing customer confidence and satisfaction.

In this regard, RSB is pleased to call upon all interested organizations and independent participants to apply for the five-day training to be conducted from 19^th to 23^rd August 2024 at Grand Legacy Hotel, Kigali. Interested participants are required to submit their applications by 7^th August 2024.
